Nishkam Batta is the Founder and CEO of GrayCyan, where he leads the development of AI applications, software products, SaaS platforms, and intelligent automation for businesses across industries.
A chemical engineer by training, Nishkam began his career working inside large industrial and engineering organizations before moving into software and applied AI. That background shaped GrayCyan’s approach: technology has to work within real workflows, existing systems, business constraints, and the way people actually operate.
Since beginning his work with AI in 2018, Nishkam has focused on moving AI beyond experimentation and into usable products and business systems. His perspectives on AI, automation, and digital transformation have been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Manufacturing Dive, The AI Journal, etc.

Our goal is not to add AI for the sake of AI. We combine product thinking, software engineering, AI, integrations, and human oversight to build technology people can actually use and businesses can depend on.
Our Story
GrayCyan started as a software development company and evolved alongside the technologies our clients needed us to build. Today, we bring software engineering, SaaS development, AI, automation, and systems integration together under one development team.
Our work ranges from building new SaaS platforms and custom business applications to adding AI capabilities to existing products, creating AI agents and knowledge systems, and automating workflows across business applications.
Some clients engage us to own an entire project from discovery through deployment. Others bring us into an existing product or engineering team when they need additional AI or software development capacity.
